Early childhood education for lifelong learning. Happy Tots is a home based childcare education service fully funded by Ministry of Education where trained educators follow an individualised Ministry of Education Te Whariki early childhood curriculum to teach children in the age bracket from newborn to five years old.

For very young children, child development stages are based on new experiences and play, to help them become confident and curious about the world. This early childhood learning is an investment in your child’s future, enhancing their growth, development and learning, as they explore the world.

LOVE

Happy Tots' qualified ECE Coordinators will do home visits to facilitate in-home Educators and interact with children. This provides an environment that is loving, comforting and safe for your child to learn and explore their world. Your child will get one-on-one interaction, giving you peace of mind and reduce their exposure to illnesses.

LEARN

Every child is different. Happy Tots registered Coordinators will develop monthly curriculum planning based on Te Whāriki to create an individual development plan (IDP) that is tailor-made for your child. This plan works in conjunction with our group curriculum and sparks your child’s passion for learning and confidence in the world, as they journey through the early childhood stages.

GROW

Regular events in various community places are organised, based around preschool activities, so every child can reach child development milestones, grow and belong to a bigger community. Parents and preschool teachers are linked to community services and organisations for extra support. Happy Tots will be organizing regular outing activities to enhance children’s social competence.
